We locate hidden listening and tracking devices in vehicles, as well as in commercial businesses, and personal dwellings. Only a "well trained & experienced" TSCM" agent knows how to properly conduct these searches. Experience is the key factor in this area of technical investigations. Hansen got his extensive experience locating AND installing these devices while still working in law enforcement (DEA) as well as searching for them while working as a Private Investigator. It isn't about expensive equipment, which some agents use to "impress" the clients, so they can raise their fees. It is about getting your training while working in a branch of Law Enforcement that dealt with these things everyday.

What really matters is experience. Actually knowing where to look, and knowing what you are looking for, from prior experience, makes all the difference. We have found that most private investigators claiming to be able to perform a proper "sweep" have NEVER even seen a real listening device, except a voice activated tape recorder from Radio Shack. Unless the private investigator came from law enforcement where they worked in details such as narcotics and intelligence, how could they have the required experience. I obtained all my experience with TSCM from working and training with the DEA and FBI over a ten year period.
