Security Six Firearms Academy, is owned and operated by Larry Hamby. The school is a full service firearm training facility that uses the San Leandro Firearms Range for its firearm training. Security Six has added a new central office at 1248 "A" Street, Hayward, CA 94541. Larry offers training for law enforcement, civilians and security professionals needing "Live Scan" printing and State Licenses issued by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS).

Basic classes include:

Issuance of BSIS Initial Firearms Cards (100.00 Base+State Fee $80.00)

California Guard Card Classes $80.00 and BSIS Fees of $50.00

Live Scan Fingerprinting $86.00 for Guard Card and $120.00 for Gun Card

Monday/Tuesdays are for Firearm Classes

Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday are Guard Classes

Classes and Times Change Depending on Class Size

BSIS Firearms Re-Qualifications $40.00(Additional Caliber's are extra)

Issuance of BSIS Tear Gas Cards(30 Minute Video+30 Question Exam=$20.00)

Issuance of BSIS California Lifetime Baton cards ($145.00)
